TripAdvisor Review: Michelle

I'm just finishing my stay at Highfield Guest House and wanted to post a review before I'm too busy when I return home. I was in England on business and afterwards I spent three nights at the Highfield Guest House. It is exceptionally clean and quiet and the owners are lovely people. As another guest noted, there are lots of small touches which make for a relaxing stay. In addition to the lovely toiletries and nail brush, there is also a magnifying makeup mirror which the female guests will appreciate. My little basket of tea, coffee and hot chocolate was replenished each day and a small package of shortbread cookies added. Breakfast was always freshly prepared. The hosts are knowledgeable about Edinburgh, provided a small map, restaurant suggestions and help whenever asked. If I am ever in Edinburgh again I will absolutely stay here. If friends are coming I would recommend it without hesitation.
